The river rafting or is being carried away by the current of a whitewater river with a boat or raft or inflatable raft, led by a guide who usually goes in the back. In this sport we must learn to balance. It is a team sport, where all the crew of the boat row and position your weight in a coordinated way to cross the rapids and stay afloat. The direction of movement is led by guide, who must know every detail of the river.

Classification of rivers for rafting

- Class I. Very easy. Easy. Slow stream, small waves, it is easy to guide, the risk of falling is low.

- Class II. Easy. Water a little rough with pits and holes no more than 25 cm, small eddies without danger to a swimmer.

- Class III. Intermediate. Troubled waters and medium waves with holes no more than 1 m, swirls of care for a swimmer and some consideration for a raft. Navigation requires good technique and knowledge of the river.

- Class IV. Difficult. Swift currents, strong and very irregular with rocks blocking the way. In some parts of the slope is very steep and require solving exercises quickly and under pressure. Before the first descend, it is recommended that a kayaker was out to reconnoitre river. It is recomended 16 years old in forward, with precautions.
